Terms and conditions
Introduction
1. These terms and conditions (“Terms”) form the basis of the Pie KiwiSaver Scheme (“Scheme”) promotion (“Promotion”), offered by the manager and issuer of the Scheme, Pie Funds Management Limited (“Pie”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By participating in the Promotion, you agree to these Terms.
2. Subject to these Terms, this Promotion is available to individuals who are current directors, employees, or clients of businesses that have been approved by Pie for the purposes of this promotion (“Participating Businesses”). Eligible participants who join the Scheme will receive a $200 welcome bonus (“Contribution”) paid into their Scheme account.
3. The full terms of the Scheme, including its product disclosure statement, can be found on the Scheme website www.piefunds.co.nz.
4. This Promotion commences on 22 June 2026 and will continue until further notice.
Eligibility
5. To be eligible for this Promotion, you must:
a) be a current director, employee, or client of a Participating Business;
b) not be a member of the Scheme and not have been a member of the Scheme at any time during the 6 months prior to joining the Scheme under this Promotion;
c) be at least 16 years old;
d) be eligible to become, and satisfy any relevant entry criteria for becoming a member of the Scheme;
e) not be an employee or contractor of Pie or any related company;
f) not be a third-party financial adviser, intermediary, referrer, or other person entitled to receive distribution commissions or referral fees from Pie Funds in connection with the Scheme; and
g) meet any other eligibility criteria determined by Pie Funds from time to time.
5A. Pie may require an applicant to provide reasonable evidence of their eligibility for this Promotion. Pie may determine eligibility for the Promotion in its sole discretion and may decline to provide a Contribution where it is not satisfied that the eligibility requirements have been met.
Payment of Contributions
6. To receive a Contribution: (a) the eligible participant must be approved as a member of the Scheme; and (b) the eligible participant must apply to become a member of the Scheme using the unique referral code we provide (which may be by way of an Internet link). If the eligible participant applies without, or by using a different, referral code, they will not receive a Contribution.
7. We will only pay a Contribution into a Pie KiwiSaver Scheme account. Contributions are not transferable and cannot be taken as cash.
8. Only one Contribution may be paid to any individual under this Promotion. Pie reserves the right to withhold, cancel or recover any duplicate Contribution paid as a result of multiple applications, misuse of the Promotion, or administrative error.
9. Contributions will be paid in the month following the month in which the eligible participant becomes a member of the Scheme.
Other terms of the Offer
10. We may in our absolute discretion and for any reason whatsoever, accept, reject or postpone the processing of any application for membership of the Scheme. We will refund any application monies received in respect of rejected applications as soon as practicable, without interest.
11. We may change, suspend, extend, or cancel the Promotion at any time in our sole discretion. Any amendment to these Terms will apply from the date the amended Terms are published, unless otherwise specified by us.
12. Our decision is final in respect of any dispute regarding the Promotion or the payment of any Contribution.
13. By taking part in the Promotion, you acknowledge that we have made no recommendations and given no opinions as to the suitability of the Scheme for you. You should make your own assessment whether becoming a member of the Scheme is suitable for you and seek professional financial advice if you are unsure.
14. If we determine in our sole discretion that you have failed to comply with these Terms, we may take any actions we consider appropriate including cancelling any Contribution payable to you and excluding you from further participation in the Promotion.
15. By participating in the Promotion, you agree to these Terms and to Pie Funds’ Privacy Policy and understand that Pie may collect your personal information in order to enter you into the Promotion and provide you with information about Pie products.
