1. These terms and conditions (“Terms”) form the basis of the ‘Pie it Forward' promotion (“Promotion”), offered by the manager and issuer of the Pie KiwiSaver Scheme, Pie Funds Management Limited (“Pie Funds”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By participating in the Promotion, you agree to these Terms.
2. Subject to these Terms, if an existing Pie KiwiSaver Scheme member (“Referring Member”) successfully refers a new member (“New Member”) who is over 16, both the Referring Member and the New Member will receive a $100 contribution (“Contribution”) into their Pie KiwiSaver Scheme account.
3. In these Terms “you” or “your” refers to the reader, whether a Referring Member, New Member or other participant in the Promotion.
4. The Pie KiwiSaver Scheme is issued by Pie Funds. The full terms of the Pie KiwiSaver Scheme, including its product disclosure statement, can be found on the Pie KiwiSaver Scheme website.
5. This Promotion commences on 1 December 2025 and will continue until further notice.
Eligibility
6. You are eligible to be a Referring Member if you: (a) are an existing member of the Pie KiwiSaver Scheme member who is at least 16 years old; (b) are not an employee or contractor of Pie Funds or any related company (but New Members referred by these persons remain eligible for a Contribution); (c) are not a third-party financial adviser or referrer that receives distribution commissions from Pie Funds; and (d) meet any other eligibility criteria determined by Pie Funds from time to time.
7. You are eligible to be a New Member if you: (a) are not a Pie KiwiSaver Scheme member at the time of the referral and have not been a Pie KiwiSaver Scheme member at any time in the 6 months prior to the referral during the Promotion period; (b) are at least 16 years old; and (c) are eligible, and will satisfy any relevant entry criteria, to become a member of the Pie KiwiSaver Scheme.
Payment of Contributions
8. In order for a Referring Member to receive a Contribution: (a) the relevant New Member must be approved as a member of the Pie KiwiSaver Scheme; and (b) the referred New Member must apply to become a member of the Pie KiwiSaver Scheme via the Pie Funds website Online Application Form and include the Referring Members Pie KiwiSaver Scheme account number in the referral code field. If the New Member applies without including the Referring Members Pie KiwiSaver Scheme account number, the relevant Referring Member will not receive a Contribution.
9. We will only pay a Contribution into a Pie KiwiSaver Scheme account. Contributions are not transferable and cannot be taken as cash.
10. Contributions to the Referring Member's or New Member's Pie KiwiSaver Scheme account will be paid in the month following the month in which the referred New Member becomes a member of the Pie KiwiSaver Scheme.
11. There is no limit on the number of New Members a Referring Member can refer and there is no limit on the number of Contributions a Referring Member may receive.
Other terms of the Offer
12. We may in our absolute discretion and for any reason whatsoever, accept, reject or postpone the processing of, any application for membership of the Pie KiwiSaver Scheme. We will refund any application monies received in respect of rejected applications as soon as practicable, without interest.
13. We may change the terms of, extend, or cancel the Promotion, at any time and on any terms at our sole discretion.
14. We may amend these Terms from time to time at our discretion. New Terms will apply to any referrals received by us after the date of publication of the new Terms.
15. Our decision is final in respect of any dispute regarding the Promotion or the payment of any Contribution.
16. By taking part in the Promotion you acknowledge that we have made no recommendations and given no opinions as to the suitability of the Pie KiwiSaver Scheme for you. You should make your own assessment whether becoming a member of the Pie KiwiSaver Scheme is suitable for you, and seek professional financial advice if you are unsure.
17. Each Referring Member agrees that we will disclose to each New Member the existence of the Promotion and that a Contribution may be paid to the Referring Member. Referring Members must also separately disclose this to New Members.
18. For privacy and confidentiality reasons, we will not disclose to a Referring Member whether a New Member's application to be a member of the Pie KiwiSaver Scheme is approved or declined.
19. If we determine in our sole discretion that you have failed to comply with these Terms, we may take any actions we consider appropriate including cancelling any Contribution payable to you and excluding you from further participation in the Promotion.
