The following terms and conditions apply to the use of the Pie Funds Management Limited (Pie Funds) website. You acknowledge and accept that your use of this website indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Pie Funds may change these terms and conditions at any time without notification.

Pie Funds is a boutique investment manager established in 2007. Pie Funds currently manages the Pie Australasian Growth Fund, the Pie Australasian Dividend Fund, the Pie Australasian Emerging Companies Fund, the Pie Global Small Companies Fund, the Pie Chairman’s Fund, the Pie Cash Plus Fund and the Pie Growth 2 Fund (the Funds). The latest Product Disclosure Statement for the Funds is available by following the ‘Invest with Us’ link on our homepage.
The employees of Pie Funds are available to discuss the structure and features of Pie Funds’ products with investors and potential investors. They also give views and general comment in connection with global market developments and trends (including by way of a monthly newsletter). Pie Funds and its employees give wholesale and/or generic financial advice, but do not provide financial advice in connection with any securities including in relation to Pie Funds’ products.
Pie Funds and its employees have not been:
• Convicted of an offence under the Securities Act 1978 or of any crime involving dishonesty
• A director or principal officer of a body corporate when that body corporate committed any offences or crimes involving dishonesty
• Adjudicated bankrupt
• Prohibited from taking part in the management of a company or business
• The subject of an adverse finding by a court in any proceeding that has been taken against them in their professional capacity
• Expelled from, or prohibited from being a member of a professional body
• Placed in statutory management or receivership

Pie Funds receives a management fee and performance fee from the Funds. It does not receive commission or brokerage in connection with the issue or sale of the units in the Funds. Mike Taylor, Richard Avery Wright, Mark Devcich, Roy Knill, Elliott Jackson, Sam de Court and Steve Nicholls are shareholders in Pie Funds either directly or through entities. Pie Funds’ employees are paid a salary by Pie Funds and may receive a bonus payment from Pie Funds based on the performance of Pie Funds. The bonus is discretionary and will be determined by the Board of Pie Funds.
Procedures for dealing with investment money
Pie Funds does not receive investment money from investors. Such investment money must be paid to the trustee of the relevant Fund, who maintains the accounts. The directors of Pie Funds have appointed Trustees Executors Limited (the Trustee) to act as the independent trustee and custodian of the Funds. Pie Funds does not have signing authority to make external payments from these accounts.
Professional indemnity insurance cover
In providing information about products offered by Pie Funds, Pie Funds’ employees are acting as employees of Pie Funds. Pie Funds has an insurance programme that includes professional indemnity insurance (directors’ and officers’ liability insurance including prospectus liability extension). The insurance covers any act, error, omission, misstatement, misleading statement, neglect, breach of duty or breach of trust. The policy is subject to excess, exclusions and limitations that are typical for such a policy.

The products and services provided on this site are designed and intended for New Zealand residents only. Unless otherwise stated, references to any currency are in New Zealand dollars.

Pie Funds is committed to ensuring the privacy of your personal information. Any information that you provide us is held in accordance with all relevant privacy laws.

Both Pie Funds and the Trustee are required to be a member of an approved dispute resolution scheme under the Financial Service Providers (Registration and Dispute Resolution) Act 2008.
