We love to see skin in the game

If there is one thing that the last few years have taught us, a Global pandemic, wars and market volatility, it is the importance of following key pillars for long-term KiwiSaver growth. These pillars have been developed over years of active fund management experience.
We use five key pillars to guide our investment choices.
Pillar One is we love to see skin in the game. When you join the Pie KiwiSaver Scheme, you invest alongside us. We invest like it’s our own money because it is. Over $100m of the money we manage across our investment funds and KiwiSaver comes from our staff, directors, and shareholders (as at 29.02.24).

We also look for this commitment in companies we invest in. We love companies where managers are heavily invested, including financially. They often have extra passion for the company that can give it an edge in the market.

We have refined these five key pillars over the past 16 years since Pie Funds launched in 2007.

Becoming a Pie KiwiSaver Scheme member has never been easier.

Our funds typically have a range of hand picked investments which our local and global investment specialists back as our best picks. We manage our Pie KiwiSaver Scheme funds in accordance with a robust risk framework to act in the best interests of our investors.

Pie's KiwiSaver Scheme has a range of actively managed funds, led by our local and global investment specialists that aim to provide expert insights and above average returns over the long-term. Plus, we're proud to offer a fee free account for members under 13 years old, making it even easier to start and grow their savings.
