Pie’s Chairman’s Fund gives exclusive access to three of our best Australasian funds, normally closed to investors.

The fund is managed by Mike Taylor, who set up Pie Funds in 2007 and has been managing the Chairman’s Fund since it was launched in 2014.

Taylor has a wealth of investment experience and is passionate about the Chairman’s Fund offering unique portfolio options for Pie clients.

He explains the Chairman’s Fund invests across seven Pie equity funds, with the three closed funds making up about a third of the investments.

Investment in the Chairman’s Fund is currently the only way to access these three closed funds - Australasian Growth, Australasian Growth 2, and Emerging Companies - with a minimum investment of $500,000.

Pie’s Australasian funds offer exposure to a strong Australian equity market and growth companies hand-picked by our experienced fund managers.

“Investing across these multiple equity funds provides diversification across different strategies, geographies and sectors,” Taylor explains.

“Often investors at Pie invest in one, or maybe two funds. If you’re in Chairman’s, you’ll likely have less volatility in your returns than if you were in one or two funds.”
